Restricted music with explicit content

(I already posted this question a while ago and i can’t reply to answers anymore)

I used to have Screen Time on all my devices, and I had music with explicit content restricted. We turned it off a while ago for my Apple ID. Even though it turned off on my iPhone and everything works fine without restrictions, my Mac still has restrictions for Apple Music such as listening to explicit content (meaning I can't listen to it). I tried to turn them off from Apple Music preferences (Rerstrictions), but everything is dim and I can’t change it (says that I have Screen time on, wich I don’t), I have also tried exiting Apple ID and setting up Screen Time for myself again and allowing all content, but that didn’t help. Neither did restarting my Mac in safe mode.

How do I fix this?

Hi kv173,

Thanks for posting here in Apple Support Communities. You've done some great troubleshooting so far. Have you also tried managing this from the web? Check out: Set or change parental controls in Apple Music on the web - Apple Support

Set content restrictions
1. At music.apple.com , click the My Account button (it looks like a photo or monogram) in the top-right corner, then choose Settings.
2. You may be asked to sign in with your Apple ID.
3. Below Parental Controls, click the switch to turn on Content Restrictions.
4. Enter a four-digit passcode to prevent changes to the restrictions you set, then click Continue.
5. You need to reenter the passcode to verify it.
6. Enter a recovery email address that can be used if you forget the passcode, then click Continue.
7. Click the pop-up menus to choose allowed ratings for music, TV shows, and movies.

If you still have issues after trying that, then we'd recommend that you connect with Apple at Apple Support

Cheers!
