iPhone 14 Pro Battery Draining Fast

My 14 Pro life is also absolutely horrid. Much worse than my 13 Pro

Having the same issue as well and no answers from Apple on this. Don't know what is going on and why they keep saying this phone should have a better battery life than the previous phones when is not the case. I feel like I am using a galaxy phone. Just horrible battery life

I own iPhone 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max. Battery life on both are nothing short of amazing. For example it is now going on noon. My 14 Pro Max has been off its MafSafe Charger, since 7:30 AM this morning and my remaining battery is 98% at this very moment.

If your battery is draining faster than you expect, you need to see what is using the battery.

Go to Settings > Battery and wait for the categories to populate. You likely have something running in the background you need to stop running.

You can also Force Restart your iPhone (something you should do routinely anyway) by following the procedure in this support document --> Force restart iPhone - Apple Support

Look at what is using your battery most in settings. Could still be indexing depending on how much you had on your device. Could be an errant app. Check to make sure you don’t have available app updates. If you do then let them install. My iPhone 14 Pro Max battery life is excellent and that’s with me using it a lot. Of course I realize you are asking about the pro but everything I mentioned could still be the cause. As far as the always on display…doesn’t seem to be using lot of power but you could always see how your battery behaves turning it off after a full charge to see if there is a significant distance for you.

Hope it stay this way for at least a year cuz mine is good with brand new 13 pro max but dude I m sure I was horrified w way 11 battery got bad so quick apple is just too fup I had almost since first one but now it’s nothing much left to it that phone like Samsung n more other android phones don’t have so. I’m surely fed up of them instead of upgrading the quality making it better more durable n . Longevity hardware it’s of course to rob us going down it’s only now the stupidity left buying it not even anymore status symbol

I’m not certain but yesterday there was an article online that stated how Apple has an updated a support document about the new iOS 16 haptic keyboard feedback, noting that using it could impact battery life. Have no info other than that, but that could be the cause. Unsure because I’ve only personally been using iOS 16 for a few days myself.

my iphone 13 pro had 100% battery until i did the ios-16 update now it shows 97% ! wow explain..

Received new iphone 14 pro and battery drains to 20% by 3pm never ever had my 13pro got that low in a year of owning it ?

must be a huge battery defect form manufacture for sure...

So where do I go from here? I have 14 days from delivery to return my phone.

Spent £1200 for what ?

A phone that I can't use to its advertised capability because Apple tell me to turn off funtionallity to save the battery WTF

Did you do what was recommended above and go to Settings > Battery > And see whats using the most battery? When you set up the phone, you may have brought something over which is corrupt. You can back up your phone on your computer and restore the phone from backup (again, using your computer). These are some things you can and should do.

No one I know with iPhone Pro (including the two I own) are having any battery drain issues.

If you try the above actions and none help, then schedule an appointment at your Apple Store Genius Bar for evaluation.

Didn't transfer any apps, did all manually.

As I wanted a clean phone

Update to iOS 16.0.01 on the day of arrival.

I have seen a few with the same issue online.

With every new iPhone launch, you'll see reports of battery drain.

Did you look to see what's using power? That's the FIRST thing you should do. You may have something running which you aren't aware is running.

Noticing seriously fast battery drain as well. Been using haptic feedback keyboard on my 13 pro Mac for weeks with no impact noticeable on battery life.

Feel a bit of an idiot as it was me leaving the wifi on whilst away from home that was the drain.

After a very polite call from apple support, we discovered the cause, my VPN always trying to connect.

As a ex android user and totally new to iPhone it didn't realise the problem.
