is it an original phone and shall i buy it safely?

I wouldn't buy it. Lithium batteries do not like to sit around uncharged. You say it was still in the box, that means it's been sitting in a box for three or four years without occasional charging. The battery is most likely not in very good condition. Also, there will be no Apple warranty on it. If the shop provides their own warranty, I would look very closely at it.

Walk away. Buy a phone from an authorized retailer in your country. That is a device that was originally intended for the US market. It will have no warranty at all now as the warranty is long expired.

It’s also likely the battery will be seriously degraded if it has actually been sealed in the original package since it was new.
