Photos App - red eye tool does not work
As above, I am trying to remove red-eye from a photo, but I can't get the tool to work. Are there some things I should try?
I am using OS 12.6 Monterey on MacBook Air 2020
MacBook Air 13″, macOS 12.6

It may not work, if Photos cannot find an eye at the location, where you try to remove the red eye.
Try to make the brush just as large as the red circle in the eye, then click.
For me it worked well for all sample images of red eyes on this page: https://www.researchgate.net/figure/Examples-of-red-eyes-of-different-subjects-that-shows-the-spread-color-distribution-of_fig3_228649986

Is it only one photo or does it not work for any photo?
What happens when you try? Where does it go wrong?
I try the Auto button, nothing happens. I try the brush - size it to match the red eye; when I click on the eye it "acts" like it's going to work - it gives a circular "blink" of sorts, but nothing changes. Thanks for your response.
I've tried but it still won't respond. I've zoomed in to concentrate on my accuracy. Most disappointing. I wonder if there's a way to reset Photos. Thanks for your suggestions.
