Broken iPhone screen and AppleCare has expired

I'm really trying to improve my English.

Hello, I broke the screen six months ago and battery at 72%. Now I saw "your service life has expired".

Yes, I know, it's my fault.

Because,I was forgoting the apple care.

Maybe the Terms of use  say that “if you haven't used apple care plus, you can use service at a discount or something like that.

Can you help?

Please, I really need help.

In all cases, thank you for reading and your time spent.

You can still get it repaired, but you will have to pay the full out of warranty repair cost.
