Apple Event: May 7th at 7 am PT
Apple refuses to update my iOS 12.4.1 wirelessly, so downloaded iTunes to my laptop, tethered my phone as instructed and repeated updates FAIL. Cannot use new apps without iOS 16 and phone will not upgrade. WHAT am I doing wrong???

Is this intended to say that iOS 12.4.1 CANNOT be upgraded at all??
My stepmom was just gifted this phone a year ago. All she wants to do is add an UBER app. I’ve spent most of the day trying to help her.
