I get this error when I try to run iTunes. I have looked at the program folders, the permissions in settings. I see nothing amiss.

See Empty/corrupt iTunes library after upgrade/crash - Apple Community. You may need to shift-start-iTunes and explicitly choose your iTunes Library.itl file.
