How to Fix Your Carrier May Charge for SMS Messages Used to Activate iCloud on iPhone..it always appear when im on my phone

This message will usually come up in relation to activation of iMessage or FaceTime. Are you using Messages in iCloud? You can check by tapping Settings > [your name] > iCloud, and checking if 'Messages' is on. Also, to verify, are you able to send and receive both SMS and iMessage? This has more information as well: Use Messages in iCloud


So that we can isolate this behavior further, does this happen after you restart your device, when you switch between Wi-Fi and cellular data, when you use a certain app, or does it seem to occur randomly?


If you tap Settings > General > About, do you see any prompts to update your carrier settings? Manually update your carrier settings on your iPhone or iPad
