What's the oldest macbook to run Xcode 14 and iOS 16?

Hi, I recently developed a sciatica problem meaning it's painful for me to work at a desk, so I'm looking to get a macbook (air or pro). I'm an author by trade, but I also want to do some app development with the latest XCode and iOS. I have a minimal budget.

What is the oldest macbook I can get to allow me to develop in Xcode 14 and iOS 16?

I've seen some 2016 and 2017 models, which are just about in my budget. Is it worth getting one of those?

No, it's thread for 2015-2017 12" Retina MacBooks.

You could have just Googled it:

"Xcode 14 includes Swift 5.7 and SDKs for iOS 16, iPadOS 16, tvOS 16, watchOS 9, and macOS Monterey 12.3. The Xcode 14 release supports on-device debugging in iOS 11 and later, tvOS 11 and later, and watchOS 4 and later. Xcode 14 requires a Mac running macOS Monterey 12.5 or later."
