Ipad Update problem

Hi everyone, i have had a problem with my 2017 ipad pro for at least 2 years. I have my ipad stuck on ipadOs 14.2 cause every time i try to update, the ipad restart at the same software version (14.2). I ve tried everything, turning off and on automatic update, with itunes from pc, i ve also tried a reset of the ipad, uninstalling apps ( i have 34gb avaliable) but it doesnt work. Has this ever happened to someone else?

Your iPad may have some internal data corruption or maybe even an internal hardware issue.

You may need to backup your iPad data to your Windows PC/iTunes and the go into the Settings app, General, Reset and do a complete Erase All Contents and Settings and set up that iPad as a brnad new, factory fresh iPad.

Then try to do the iPadOS upgrade with that iPad as still new with no other user data on it, through your PC/iTunes.

Make sure your PC is using the most latest version of iTunes.

If the iPadOS upgrade is successful, then you can restore your iPad data back from the iTunes backup you made.

If still NO joy,

You have no other option than to use the “Get Support” link, at the far upper top right of every Apple Support Community Webpage and make an appointment with your nearest, local Apple Store to let Apple employees diagnose your iPad and then present options to you.
