My iPhone 7 will not charge when plugged in unless I jiggle the cord

Last year I needed a battery to replace an old one took to the apple store where it was fixed I was told! I then went on my way but got no where as the phone then failed to work at all? I went right back to the

Apple Store whereby the took back in and keep for night for me to come back next day! When I came to

the store I was told something I really don't remembers being 75 at times nothing makes sense? While for a time I was satisfied but then the iPhone connected and left to charge didn't! Need my iPhone as I

do everything with it so right away I tried different chargers cord/etc but no good? Finally I giggled the

cord and the lighting bolt came on from here I saw that I could charge the phone but a regular hassle so

I contacted Apple told to bring in when I can but being in Ohio living in Florida I haven't got their yet my

question is how long will it take to repair and am I responsible for it not working right! The problem with

the battery when they took iPhone apart was no charge why no idea but will there be a charge here also?

All new iPhones come with a one year hardware warranty. You should have had a opportunity to purchase an AppleCare+ plan at the time of purchase, which would have extended it another year. However, if it is well past then, than any repairs would be considered "out-of warranty," and would be at your cost.

Without going through the details of Apple's warranties, only the Apple technician, can inspect the phone to see if it is repairable, and what it would take/cost to do so. Your iPhone 7 is still considered "Supported" by Apple.

Instead of traveling to an Apple Store (regardless of which state you currently are in), you can elect to have your phone shipped to Apple for evaluation/repair ... and you have two ways to start that process, should you want to go that route:

  1. Contacting Apple directly by simply using the "Get Support" link in the upper right-hand side of this forum's web page, or
  2. Start the process rolling, by using the following link: Contact Apple for support and service - Apple Support
