Mac Login Options

So I understand that mac user accounts have 2 names, the full account name (Example: TLC Admin)

and the standard account name (tlcadmin)

I also understand that for certain password scenarios (like changing settings) I can use the account name for the User Name blank as opposed to the full name.

My question is, is there a way to add another name to the account, similar to an account name, serving a login purpose but without changing the actual account name?

basically, i want to add a secondary account name just to use for password blanks. is this possible?

Sorry i should’ve been more specific. I will provide an example to help explain the situation.

Suppose there is a Mac account name TLC Check In. The account name is tlccheckin.

In certain system settings, the admin password is required to unlock the pane. one can replace the full name in the User Name blank (TLC Check In) for the account name (tlccheckin) and it works the same.

My question is, if i set the login window on the machine to username/ password, is it possible to add another type of name that serves as a username for that account? I believe the word im searching for is Alias. I didn’t use that word before because I know there’s an Alias section in the advanced options of the mac login settings, and i’m not sure what that’s for.
