Erased stolen iphone

Hi there,

I tried to sell my iphone and unfortunately it got stolen.

Sadly I erased everything beforehand.

Is there anything that can be done to make the iPhone useless. I have a proof of purchase as well as the serial number :(

Don'ts

If you remove the device from your account after you erase it, Activation Lock will be turned off. This allows another person to turn on and use your device.

An example of my iPhone 5 is given in the GIF below. There is no "Undo" after you remove it from your account.
