iPhone calls own number in car since iOS 16

Hi,

this is an issue I had a while ago (maybe 2-3 years) and it seemed to go away, but 75/80% of the time I get into my car, within a couple of minutes of starting to drive, my iPhone calls my own number; stopping the radio or podcast/Spotify I’m listening to.

I can go to the call screen which shows nothing, yet in the car it shows a call in progress, but I’m unable to stop it by pressing the red phone button.

the only way to stop this is turning the phone off, which sometimes stops it for the whole journey but sometimes it happens again and again.

I use my phone in-car for calls, media (radio, music, podcasts)

Can anyone help? I’ve tried forgetting device and reconnecting/restarting a couple of times
