How can I tell if Apple Watch is connected to my Macs?

How can I tell if Apple Watch series 8 (iOS 16) is connected by bluetooth to my Macs. The computers do not show the are connected by Bluetooth and AppleWatch often fails to wake or do other things it should with my Macs. Greetings, gorron.

If your Apple Watch is not unlocking your Mac, follow these steps in order to find a resolution:

“How to set up Auto Unlock

  1. Make sure that your Mac and Apple Watch meet the system requirements for Auto Unlock.
  2. Make sure that your devices are set up as follows:
    • Your Mac has Wi-Fi and Bluetooth turned on.
    • Your Mac and Apple Watch are signed in to iCloud with the same Apple ID, and your Apple ID is using two-factor authentication.
    • Your Apple Watch is using a passcode.
  1. Choose Apple menu  > System Preferences, then click Security & Privacy. Select ”Use your Apple Watch to unlock apps and your Mac” or ”Allow your Apple Watch to unlock your Mac.”” Unlock your Mac with your Apple Watch

Should the issue continue, Contact Apple Support. We hope this helps to further isolate and resolve the issue to get Apple Watch and Mac responding normally together when asked.

Best wishes.

The watch never shows as being connected to a Mac via bluetooth.

You only know it is connected when it does things like unlock the Mac or use nit to OK entering passcodes like unlocking a Settings pame.

However, sometimes when I try to unlock my Mac I get message that wireless connection is weak and use passcode or keyboard. fingerprint. LIke other time like now all options I have is passcode or touch ID. It just stopped working out of the blue. I did nothing to watch or Mac.
