14 Pro esim compatibility in Bangladesh

Hi. Is the Esim chip in iPhone 14 pro (US variant) compatible with the carrier Grameenphone in Bangladesh? It does the support the already existing 13 pro, so I was wondering is there any reason why it would not work with the 14 pro. TIA

Here is Apple’s list of eSIM carrier support.

Find wireless carriers and worldwide service providers that offer eSIM service - Apple Support

While Bangladesh is not on the list, the carrier you mention may use other means of supporting eSIM. Best to check with them before making any decision.

And as @lobserghotst1 mentioned, if you buy the iPhone in the U.S. and take it Bangladesh you will not be able to get warranty service should something happen.

I have no inside knowledge as to whether there is any change in the eSim chip between the two phones. This forum is user to user. We aren't Apple and we don't have access to such information.

One would hazard a guess that a 13 Pro which worked with a carrier's eSim service would also do well on an iPhone 14 Pro.

It is ALWAYS advisable to purchase your phone in the country you live and will use the phone. Even if the phone costs more in your country, any savings you realize up front will be gone and then some if you have an issue and have to physically bring the phone back to the US for service.
