Can view locked notes on iPhone 14 but not Mac

I locked my notes on my iPhone 8, I recently upgraded to the 14 PM and used locked them with face I.D. Now I am unable to view the locked notes on my Mac stating "This note uses unsupported features. To view or edit it, upgrade to the latest version." I am on Monterey 12.6 and not updates are available. How can I view my notes on my Mac?

Hi Kozy_Bear,

If you haven't done so yet, be sure to install the latest version of iOS 16 (16.0.2), as this may help with the issue you've described: Update your iPhone or iPad

1. Back up your device using iCloud or your computer.
2. Plug your device into power and connect to the internet with Wi-Fi.
3. Go to Settings > General, then tap Software Update.
4. Choose the software update that you want to install. You can choose to stay on iOS or iPadOS 15 and still get important security updates. Or you can choose the option to upgrade to iOS or iPadOS 16.
5. Tap Install Now. If you see Download and Install instead, tap it to download the update, enter your passcode, then tap Install Now. If you don't know your passcode, learn what to do.

If the issue persists, reach out to Apple Support directly. They can be contacted here: Get Support, or by calling the most applicable phone number from this list: Contact Apple for support and service.

Best regards.
