Delete passkeys from Safari

I'm doing some local development on an authenticator that can use Safari passkeys to login. Whenever I create a new account in the authenticator and add a passkey, it adds a new entry to my passkey dialog in Safari.

I do not see a way to delete passkeys from my Keychain or from Safari's password screen. Is there a way to remove these entries if I no longer need them?

Hey there mirbsy,

As a general rule to stay compatible with the latest software(along with having the latest security updates), it's recommended to update to the latest official releases for all devices, and the latest for your Mac would be macOS Monterey 12.6. This link will show how to first back up, then Update macOS on Mac.

It sounds like you have iCloud Keychain enabled, which is a secure way of storing your login details to autofill the next time you need to use them in Safari.

It sounds as if you'd like to do one of two things, so we wanted to point the two sections 'What happens when I turn off iCloud Keychain on a device?' and/or 'How do I find my saved passwords?' in this link: Set up iCloud Keychain

Cheers!
