Hello,
I've got an email address associated with my apple ID that is from a previous relationship. I'm needing to remove this from my Apple ID. I have followed the steps for signing into my Apple ID/Managing My Apple ID/Contactable At but there isn't a cross to delete? In the information button it says "This is an alias of your email address." Please can you assist?

You can't change/remove @iCloud.com, @me.com or @mac.com addresses unless it is an alias you created after the Apple ID was set up.

The first thing we wanted to point out is to always use your very own Apple ID on your devices going forward. It's never recommended to ever share an Apple ID with anyone, but you can always set up Family Sharing at a later date should you decide to share purchases.
