Asking Siri to play Pandora: “To do that, you'll need to verify your account details in Pandora”

When I ask Siri to play anything on Pandora the reply is “To do that, you'll need to verify your account details in Pandora”.


For example, I say "hey Siri play Pearl Jam on Pandora" and the response is “To do that, you'll need to verify your account details in Pandora”.


I uninstalled Pandora and re-installed, signed in and out, and all of the options are turned on for Siri and Search in pandora settings.


What do I need to do to get this working?

iPhone 14 Pro, iOS 16

If you are unable to ask Siri to play a song for you in Pandora, troubleshoot the issue by working through the following steps: 


1. Close and reopen the app.

2. Restart your device.

3. Check for updates.

4. Delete the app, then redownload it.
