Remove Tab Group Favorites under bookmarks

I want to remove the TAB GROUP FAVORITES under bookmarks on iMac Monterey v 12.6. Simple request, impossible to get an answer.

iMac 24″, macOS 12.6

Hi. I was having trouble with this too, but I figured out how to do it:

Ironically (?), to delete a tab group under "Bookmarks" you have to arrow back out of "Bookmarks" (the arrow to the left of Bookmarks in your photo). After you arrow out, you will immediately see your list of "Tab Group Favorites" in this panel - you will then be able to delete your tab groups and they will disappear from your list of bookmarks back in the "Bookmarks" panel (you may need to erase your internet history, quit and restart Safari to see that they're gone). Unfortunately, I don't think you can remove the main/parent "Tab Group Favorites" folder from the Bookmarks panel... At least, I haven't figured out how to do that if it is possible... Would be really "nice" if you could though, it's annoying as heck if you don't have any tab group favorites (like me...) *Note to Apple: maybe consider the comments made in this chat who think Safari users should be allowed to remove the "Tab Group Favorites" folder from the "Bookmarks" panel if they wish... oi.

They are actually very handy if you want to do specific routines. I use it to check my bank and credit card accounts every morning and read the news and social media. With one click I can open all those tabs at once. It is very frustrating to not be able to remove the ones that I created and don't use and having Apple give us steps that don't work is very disturbing. The only thing I see is "copy" when I follow the instructions. Do they even try the solutions the offer? The answer is no. Could someone that is smart enough to attempt to delete one and see that it doesn't work please step in and answer this question?

Hi GPWH,

If you’ve attempted the solution and these are your results, and the issue is fixed on your iPhone and iPad, you could try logging out of your Apple ID on your Mac and letting it resync once you login again. Let me know if this fixes the issue.

Agreed. We should be able to remove it. I can't. But I was able to move my other bookmarks above it ... in doing so, moving "Tab Group Favorites" to the bottom. Not ideal ... but better than having it forced on me at the top.
