You are going to need at least 6GB of free storage space to complete the download and installation of this update. Begin deleting data from your iPhone 11 Pro Max to free up some space. Media files, such as videos, photos, music etc, take up large amounts of space. Begin by deleting those files until you have enough free space.

4GB of available storage is not enough. You need to have at least 6GB free space to download the update over the air.

You can however, try to update using your computer with iTunes (Windows) or FInder (Mac - Catalina or Higher).

Maybe its time to think about getting a new iPhone with more memory?
