Can anyone help me to find the software for my 2004 A1059 classic touch iPod? I can't seem to find it, & I need it in order to use this classic iPod.. Thanks in advance!

Syncing to a new library with respect to the iPod will bring up an erase and sync warning, all existing media on the device will be removed in favour of the new content you're syncing, which is why you need to copy off anything else first.

You shouldn't need anything over and above iTunes, or Music on more recent Macs.

Thank you for your response TT2. I have all of those things you mentioned, but it seems that I actually do need the software in order to use this device as it was intended to be used. I purchased it second hand, & it was loaded with several audio books. I’ve been able to listen to these audiobooks, but can’t seem to import any media from either the iTunes Store, from my Music Library, or from any media files on any of my appropriately set up hard disk drives.
If anyone knows of any other way for me to use this wonderful little device, I’d be most appreciative.
