Verification code - how to get one and sign in with two-factor authentication. *

If you can get a code and sign in, you need to change/add the number on your Apple ID. Look in the Security section when signed in online. You may have to add the new number before you can remove the old number. After the change, allow up to 24 hours for the change to sync. Before trying to make the change, sign out of Messages/FaceTime on all devices/computers.

i will try, this is on my significant others iphone, they got as new number and broke the screen and after replacement the iphone was unavaliable and when we tried to sign in it says it sent a code to their old number which is disconnected, we also have no access to the email but we have the apple id and passcode,

the simcard in the phone still recieves calls even though its in the sign in and recover screens so if there was a way we could changer the number then have the code sent via phone call to the new number thatd be great
