Since IOS 16 every time I switch off then on my phone I’m asked for my Apple ID,annoying

Apple ID Account Recovery without Trusted Phone Number I made the mistake of changing a phone number on our family plan before I removed the passcode from the phone. When I acted like I wanted to remove the passcode, it is forcing me to put in the icloud password from the account the phone is attached to. I cannot remember the password and it won't let me change it unless I have access to the (previous) phone number or the icloud email itself!! It's a vicious cycle!! Any ideas? The beta of ios16 has been around for many months. Did nobody noticed this stupid bug?

It is very easy to reproduce.

I think the testing quality of ios16 was poor.

Not typing the password each time we are asked for is not going to cause any problem, I think... Never the less, if each one of us could call at least one time the the Apple Support, I'm pretty sure it would press the to fina an answer soon... We paid a lot of money for our gadgets and we should be treated with more efficiency and respect as customers...

I've noticed same thing, so I’m simply ignoring it but most certainly it is very annoying.

Let's see how long it will take Apple to fix this annoying issue.
