On a Mac, if I want to add a rule line to a paragraph style, I can do that in the Layout tab. I cannot find the equivalent function on an iPad when using Pages
Does it exist on Pages for iPad? And if so, where?

We’re going to refer you to the Pages for iPadOS User Guide - Pages User Guide for iPad to look a bit further at what you’re seeking to do. You can use the ‘Search this guide’ field or even the Table of Contents to narrow down your search.
When searching the Pages User Guide for macOS, there is an option for what you described but we’re not seeing one for iPadOS. However, depending on your need for that line there may be other options.
