Weather (Apple)

I have used the Dark Sky weather app on all of my Apple devices (iPhone, iPad, and Apple Watch)for years, but the app will no be supported after Jan 1, 2023.

The Weather app by Apple is supposedly integrating the Dark Sky features into their app. I have noticed when I try to download the Apple Weather app from the App Store to my iPad Pro I get a notice at the top of the app that states “This app requires specific features not available on this device”. But if I scroll down to the Compatibility section, it states “Works on this iPad “.

Obviously the top notice is correct, because I can not install on my iPad.

What is the problem with using the Apple Weather app on iPads? Dark sky works very well on my iPads.
