When I delete an event from my calendar on my iPhone 13, why does it immediately reappear?

Hi there OpelGT,
We'd like to learn more to see how we can help with deleting events in Calendar on your iPhone.
Are you attempting to delete events from a calendar you subscribed to or a calendar you set up? We ask because if it's a subscribed calendar, it might be set up so that the owner of that calendar can only add and delete events.
Are you following these steps to delete your events?
In Day view, tap the event, then tap Delete Event at the bottom of the screen.
