Just got new Router from Verizon and my wifi keeps dropping, its some setting in my macbook since it the only computer in the house the keeps getting dropped??

It connects to wifi but will randomly go offline and try to pick up my Iphone hotspot.. I've turned off MAC and restarted, NO VPN, and Reset the Router to factory, it's something with my computer settings, just happens random. My computer is only 12 ft away from router on the same floor.
I did the built in Diagnostic but now don't know how to open them.

Use of a Range Extender:
If you are in an isolated place (i.e. a room with closed doors), then note that you may not be getting a strong enough of a signal. So, if such is the case, then you may need to purchase a range extender with will amplify the signal.
