all of my music is not downloaded- seems to be just the music purchased through the old iTunes - play lists are not downloaded during the installation of the pod mini. Also playing my iPhone play list with tv off through pods will not let me control column- why must I buy again when I already have certain music I can not see in Apple Music TV

Why is there a play list category on Apple Music TV if HomePod mini can’t fill it and why can’t the mini download 59% of my songs when my iPhone can- using airplay just uses unnecessar battery- how can I get the music i have already bought on to the tv music app
Like HomePod, without a subscription to Apple Music or iTunes Match the Music app on Apple TV has access to your unhidden purchases. You can however use the Computers app to access any Home Sharing libraries present on your network.

With HomePod mini install Apple Music tv only plays some o f my music- maybe 40% of it. I can shuffle it within a category but I can’t populate a category. I have to play the other 80% from my computer- it would be nice to play all the songs I have, without outer or phone - when will apple let us do that
