Charger not fitting

Brand new IPhone 14. Charger will not fit. Got it today. Why won’t it fit?

Your new iPhone came with a USB C to Lightning cable. The Lightning cable should surely fit your phone. The change is from standard USB A to USB C as the world rapidly moves away from the old standard USB A plug to the much better USB C standard.


Your options are:


  1. If you don't have a USB C Charging Brick, buy one. You can pick up a 20w USB C brick at your Apple Store, BestBuy, Staples or order one from Amazon
  2. If you had a previous iPhone, use the charger which you already own. But you won't get fast charging with an older cable and brick
  3. Buy a MagSafe Charger and Charging Brick and don't use a cable at all
