I am upgrading from a iPhone 11pro to iPhone 14 pro the old app works on my old iPhone but when I upgraded and restored from my iTunes backup, app looks to download from the App Store and since it's discontinued it fails. Any way to transfer the old app and data over? Does transfering from iPhone to iPhone or restoring from an iCloud backup preserve the full app and data.

Apps don't transfer from iPhone to iPhone or any backup (iCloud or iTunes), only the app data along with app links to the App Store gets transferred. If it is not in the App Store then it can't be used.
