How to change Tri Note tone on my iPhone?

Ah, okay. I think I'm on the same page with you now. You're getting notifications as expected, and you know what they are, you just want to change what sound they make, correct? As far as I know, the sounds are set by each app's development team, and if no custom sounds are set (or included in the in-app settings menu), the phone uses the default Tri-tone sound. I don't see a way to change that default - there is only the option to turn the sounds off, which may not be ideal. I'm sure you've found that option while looking around in your phone's global settings, but just in case, here's a guide on how to do that: Change notification settings on iPhone - Apple Support

When you hear the sound, is it tied to a certain notification (i.e., does something specific show up on the screen)? If no alerts or banners show up, you can go to Settings > Notifications and scroll through the list of your installed apps and see if there are any that have only sounds enabled. It may be that an app is trying to send a notification, but you have banners for that app turned off.

As far as the name, it's hard to know for sure without hearing it, but the classic three-note tone default from Apple is called "Tri-tone."

FOr example, it happens when I receive an email (via the protonmail app) or when I receive a notification of another app (parking app called Easy Park) and other apps. I looked everywhere, in particular in each app - Settings/notifications where you have NOTIFICATION STYLE and the list of all installed apps where I thought I would find the notification option for each app, but no, it's not in there.

I cannot believe that iPhone doesn't have an option for that. Apple's people keep criticizing Android, but having both phones I can say that 1. I hate android for the total absence of privacy - I hate to be a product on which Google makes money; 2. I love the level of privacy I can have with Apple - at least I suppose I do - but I am growing to hate the total lack of flexibility of the product.
