Smart room thermometers for smart plug-connected electric heaters in a HomeKit environment

Hello, I hope you can help. I have 4 electric oil heaters at home in various rooms still without any domotic feature. I would like to begin enjoying domotics by adding smartplugs to each of the electric heaters at regular power outlets, one or more digital thermometers on the walls and control them via HomeKit (Apple TV as hub). It sounds easy, but I'm not sure I can identify the right digital thermometer that can work in such basic HomeKit setup (they all seem thermostats, but I'm not sure I need that). The HomeKit controlled switches would be in each smartplug attached to each heater. Any suggestion both for the digital room thermometer and the smartplugs (I live in EU-Italy)? Thanks!
