i changed my apple id password recently but now cannot add my mac mail to my PC/outlook?

I recently changed my apple ID on a friend's laptop and then received error when opening on my PC/outlook. It does not seem to recognize my new password when trying to add my mac email back on my PC/outlook.

Windows, Windows 10

If it is your iCloud address, you may need to enable 2 Factor Authentication on your Apple ID and create an app specific password to use. If your account won’t allow 2 Factor Authentication, try 2 Step Verification.
