i have tried all optional fixes. Cleared RAM(both using key presses and terminal command), Reinstalled OS, installed all updates. I have partitioned the drive but Bootcamp assistant crashes every time. Any other solutions? Will a bad battery prevent the boot camp assistant from working properly?

You said you partitioned the drive. You can't do that. Let Boot Camp partition the drive during installation of Windows.

I only did that to see if it would stop the boot camp assistant crash.
Has your problem been fixed?
no. I just wiped the drive and reinstalled High Sierra. Then installed all updates. Bootcamp assistant still crashes when you click on Continue on the Introduction Page.
