Onedrive fails to sync MacOS 12.4

I am having multiple issues with the sync process from:

There is an issue with another item, to stating special characters are in use such as \"? Etc.

I've checked all of my files and none have them. I have tried multiple trouble shooting steps resolve it but I still have the same issue, this includes removing, reinstalling, etc.


Is Apple fixing this issue? Or are there any other fixes I should try?

I'm using a MacBook Air 2022

While you'll need to reach out to OneDrive Support for help with their service, we'd like to help rule out some general possible causes from the Apple side of things:


  1. We see you're using macOS 12.4, but the latest version is macOS 12.6. You can verify this by clicking on the Apple logo at the top left corner of the screen, then on ‘About This Mac’. This link will show how to first back up, then Update macOS on Mac.
  2. If you're using the OneDrive app, we recommend making sure it's the latest version running by checking for any app updates: How to manually update apps on your Apple device
