Deep fusion with all photos

I just upgraded to an iphone 14 pro from an iphone xs. I was really excited about the camera, only to find that this deep fusion feature ruins every single picture I take with a weird overexposed/hdr look. what a disappointment. can someone at apple please please please please please make a switch this can be toggled off? I kind of want to return my 14 and go back to my iphone xs.
