Activity Rings Not Showing Fireworks Animation

This isn’t a question but another solution to possibly help anyone still having this issue. I recently got my Series 7 and had never gotten the animation so I went on a quest to figure out why, after weeks of trying, unpairing, etc. it dawned on me, I had my Focus mode set to only allow notifications from certain apps and Fitness was not one of them. I added it to my list of allowed notifications, tweaked my goal settings for the day to get the animation quicker, and immediately it worked! I also tried many of the other options people here suggested, like Kim303, and someone said to turn off the Tap To Show Full notifications option in the Watch app, you can find them all in this forum, but this is another task you can try if you cannot get the animation!
