Is there a way to save favorite emojis

I hate that the frequently used emojis move based on use. Is there a way to stop this? Or to better yet, save favorite emojis so that they show up first and in the order I want them too?

Recently used emojis I just recently updated my phone to IOS 16, and every time that I use emojis, they get saved onto my recently used emojis slide. The minute I stop using my keyboard and I go back to my emojis, all the recent emojis I have used are gone and it constantly gets reset to the default emojis. It’s aggravating having to constantly search up or find the emojis I normally use all across the pages.

Favorited Emojis I’ve always disliked the “frequently used” section in the emoji glossary, as it’s a pain when using a specific emoji for that one time you needed it, then seeing it pop up in that section, even though you’ve only used it once. There’s a few other reasons I dislike this feature that I won’t go into further depth in, but I’m just wondering… is there any sort of production behind a “favorites” emoji section, because it shouldn’t take a decade and a half creating something so simple. There’s also been mass media wanting this functionality, so why not just make one, since the people want it anyways? Please give me some information regarding this topic!
