AirPods Pro 2 YouTube playback issues

I bought the new AirPods Pro second generation a few days ago. Since then most times when I try to watch you tube with the pods connected the video repeatedly stops, almost as if I had a poor internet connection. If I put away the pods problem solved

Report this to Apple:

Do your Part: Provide Apple with feedback on this, letting them know about this issue.  Apple may not get back to you directly, but the more feedback they receive on this, the more they will know what is occurring, and what bug fixes to include in updates to come. Apple probably has received little to no word of this issue.

  1. Go Here: Feedback - iPhone - Apple
  2. Select: "Bug Report" for the "Feedback Type"
  3. Comment: on where this all began. Include the URL of this thread..
  4. Proceed from there as necessary

1. Turn off the spatial sound itself. Relevant to spatial audio function regardless of head tracking.

2. This is a bug that does not occur in Youtube Music.

3. Hardware itself is no problem. I checked it directly with Apple Genius.


3.1. When you want to know if there is a hardware problem, check...

a. Put it in ambient sound mode.

b. Put the earbuds in your ears and cover them slightly with the pinna.

c. Never apply pressure to cover. If you hear an annoying beep at that time, the hardware is defective. (This is the same way to screen for defects in AirPods Pro 1st generation manufactured before October 2020)


I found the flaw described in the 2nd generation of my AirPods Pro and got it replaced at Best Buy.
