AirPods Pro 2 Keep Cutting Out

Hello Guys. Recently (less than a month ago), I got some brand new AirPods Pro 2. Ever since I bought them, whenever I would play a video, they would cut out for the first few seconds. For example, I’m on TikTok or YouTube shorts and I scroll to a new video, the first 3-4 seconds don’t play and it’s rly annoying. This happens every single video and every single time I scroll to a new video. This also happens when I double tap to go forward in a video on YouTube. So let’s say I’m watching a normal video on YouTube, I double tap on the right side of the screen to move forward 10 seconds, the first 4 seconds don’t play. This is really annoying and I’m sad because the AirPods are extremely new and they already aren’t working well. Please Help.

Hey MacBoooooooook,

Which device are the AirPods paired with? Since software updates include fixes, we recommend making sure the latest version is installed.

If you're using a Mac, follow the steps below or access them using this article here: Update macOS on Mac.

"Before installing new software, it's a good idea to back up your Mac.

  1. From the Apple menu  in the corner of your screen:
    • Choose System Settings. Then click General in the sidebar, and Software Update on the right.
    • Or choose System Preferences. Then click Software Update

2 If Software Update finds new software, click the Update Now or Upgrade Now button to install it.

3 Enter your administrator password, if asked. During installation, your Mac might restart, and you might see a progress bar or blank screen several times."

If the issue is with a iPhone/iPad device, follow the steps below to update it: Update your iPhone or iPad.
