does anyone know if MacAir M2 is compatible with 365? It won't install.

Office 365 works fine on my M1 Mac. I cannot see why it shouldn't install on an M2 Mac, but clearly you're having issues. Presumably you can get into https://www.office.com/ in a browser? What happens when you try the Install Office link there?
