Youtube says my memory is full. It pops up with a clean box. I will not click on it. Is this something sinister or what. this only happens on my iPhone not my MAC. Under the about tab in settings on my iPhone it shows I have 70 GB available. Does anyone know what's going on? Thanks for any assistance.

The reason I asked is there have been several posts today regarding a popover stating Memory Full and if you click on the button included it wants you to go to the the App Store and acquire Smart Cleaner. Sounds like it is also available in the YouTube app, others have been using Safari when they saw it. Your iPad is probably too old to support the popover and it would not appear normally on your Mac. I would contact YouTube support to see if they are aware of this.

I knew YouTube is not an apple product. I was just wondering if anyone else had a similar issue. The capacity issue has not appeared on my MAC or iPad. It could be Google since I have a google account. Thanks for the input I'll check out my google account.
On my iPhone I am using the app. Which is the only place I get the clean popup notification. I'm using the app on my iPad with no popup. I am using Safari on my MAC with no popup. My iPad is older and runs iOS 12. My MAC is running Monterey and is up to date. Both have space available. My iPhone 12 is running iOS 15. Seems very odd to me. At this point I'll take SravanKrA's advice and contact google to see if anything nefarious is going on. Which my main concern. Thanks.
YouTube is not an Apple Product. Contact the app developer here --> App Support or YouTube Help - Google Support
