As to battery percentage that is currently not available to the iPhone 11 and 16.0.2 did not include that capacity. Have you tried a forced restart of your iPhone?
Apple notes the following about showing the battery percentage-
iPhone XR, iPhone 11, iPhone 12 mini, and iPhone 13 mini don't display battery percentage in the status bar.
