Decline or reject incoming call on iPhone X

I have an iPhone X, iOS 15.7. When I get an incoming call, on my lock screen, there's only the "Slide to Answer" option. There isn't the red hang up button that allows me to decline or reject the call. I can double click the right side button; but if I need to do something on my iPhone while the call is still ringing, the call continues to bug me.

How do I decline or reject an incoming call on my iPhone X lock screen?

Hello ykt28403,

Thank you for reaching out to Apple Support Communities.

This may happen if your iPhone is locked. Unlock your iPhone and you should see other options.

"Decline a call and send it directly to voicemail

Do one of the following:

  • Press the side button twice quickly.
  • Tap the Decline Call button.
  • Swipe up on the call banner.

You can also swipe down on the call banner for more options.

A screen showing a notification of an incoming call at the top. The Decline and Accept buttons are at the top right."

More details and be found here: Answer or decline incoming calls on iPhone

Hopefully this helps.

Cheers!
