iTunes Store vs. AppleTV?

So, when I purchase a season pass for a tv show on the Apple TV app, I get email notifications from the iTunes Store about new episodes available for download. iTunes hasn't been a thing for years now. Why is there still a thing called the iTunes Store? Very confusing, Apple. Pick a lane.

How to turn off itunes confirmation on AppleTV Does anyone know how to turn off the confirm on other devices when making purchases on AppleTV? My wife and I have family sharing and her account is on the AppleTV. It would be nice to be able to buy or rent movies without the added unnecessary confirmations.

The only change was that Apple split the iTunes application up in Catalina. Older macOS versions, and all Windows users, will have it and access the iTunes Store through it.
