How do I turn off the response “ I found some web results. I can show them if you ask again from your iPhone.”

I often ask Siri a question from my HomePod mini, and often get a response “I found some web results. I can show them if you ask again from your iPhone.”

This response is very irritating, how do I turn this off? The reason I am asking via HomePod is because I don’t have my iPhone on me. I don’t want to be given eggs and told to go find a pan when I ask for an omelette.

You cannot turn it off. Don't ask HomePod questions that are outside of its domain and you won't have to hear it. Of course working out where those limits are might be easier said than done, but anything that is going to require more than a short sentence, or an illustration, is likely to fail. If you think your question should be something that Siri on HomePod should handle, or would like control over some of its responses, you can use Feedback - HomePod - Apple to let Apple know.
