Mac or Macintosh
What is the name of this line of computers? Is it Mac or is it Macintosh? We're seeing an attempt to assert that the name is Mac on English Wikipedia, and I want a definitive answer.

In the beginning, it was definitely Macintosh. Today, however, I think you'd be hard pressed to find a reference to Macintosh by Apple. A look on Apple's site (Mac - Apple) shows "Mac" everywhere I looked. I'd say, according to Apple, the name is officially Mac today.
