Omron Connect shows Inactive in Apple Health App

Omron connect formerly worked for me with the Apple health app. I have about three weeks of blood pressure data that transferred correctly. But for the last 5 months so there’s been no transfer of data. The health app says that Omron connect, which it still lists as a source of data, is inactive. Any suggestions?

Hello 1836dc,

Thanks for posting in Apple Support Communities. It sounds like you've tried some great steps already including the steps from Manage Health data on your iPhone, iPod touch, or Apple Watch - Apple Support.

Since the app appears there, we would recommend trying the steps from If an app on your iPhone or iPad stops responding, closes unexpectedly, or won’t open - Apple Support which should help since the issue is with a specific app. For your convenience, we've outlined those steps below.

1 Close and reopen the app
Force the app to close. Then open the app to see if it works as expected.

2 Restart your device
Restart your iPhone or restart your iPad. Then open the app to see if it works as expected.

3 Check for updates
To see if updates are available for the app, open the App Store, tap your profile icon, then scroll down to see if updates are available. If updates aren't available for the app, update the software on your iPhone or iPad.

4 Delete the app, then redownload it
Delete the app. When you do this, you might lose data that was stored in the app. Then redownload the app. Then check to see if the problem with the app is fixed.

Have a great day!
